Opening the door

When life is difficult, it is often a signal that we need to pause and listen. Discomfort, hurt and struggle are experiences that are waiting to be seen, recognised, acknowledged and loved. Like uninvited visitors, they knock on our doors saying, ‘Please let me in.’

What if you could open the door enough to glimpse the parts of you that long to be integrated? What if it were possible to give voice to those aspects of you that have been pushed away or abandoned?

This is what psychotherapy can offer – a creative space in which you can learn to listen deeply to all the facets of who you are. In a trusting, respectful and genuine human relationship, you and I can walk side by side to find a way to your authentic self.

Rediscovering your authenticity

At our core, we are beautiful human beings, worthy of love, self-respect and belonging. As life wounds us, we often create a protective armour to shield ourselves from further scarring. These defensive layers protect us from harm, but they also cut us off from the vitality of life, stifling the connection to the sources of our energy and the beauty of existence.

Therapy provides a safe environment in which you can rediscover your natural vitality and authentic personality. When access to energy is reestablished, life becomes worth living again.

Moving from reactivity to reflectiveness

My life and work have taught me that people heal by moving from a reactive state to a reflective state. The ability to step back from a problem and see deeper connections can be deepened within the therapeutic process. We are all born with the capacity to make sense of our experiences and live in harmony with our environment. In your essence, you are already awake and wise and therapy is a way of uncovering this inner wisdom.
